(ĐN)- On July 22, a Provincial Party Committee inspection delegation led by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai had a working session with Long Thanh district’s Party Committee on the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the first half of 2009.
According to the report, Long Thanh registered a GDP growth rate of 9.2 percent in first six months of the year, state budget collection achieved nearly 90%. However, more efforts should be made in the coming months to well carry out regulations on compensation and complaint settlement.
Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai proposed Long Thanh district government to take more measures to curb the economic slowdown and sustain steady growth, boost the movement for studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples, timely reflect issues relating to compensation, site clearance and resettlement, etc.
