(ĐN)- Late last week, an inspection delegation led by Mr. Tran Minh Thau, member of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, had a working session with Long Khanh town’s Party Committee on the implementation of the Provincial Party Committee Resolution 11/
Over the past six months, Long Khanh town has fulfilled and surpassed important targets; particularly, the first six-month GDP increased by 10.4%, state budget collection exceeded the set target, the hunger eradication and poverty reduction programs brought positive results.
Speaking at the working session, Mr. Tran Minh Thau highly appreciated efforts and achievements that the Long Khanh town’s leaders and people had made during the past time and hoped that the town will continue to tap its strength and potential to fulfill its socio-economic targets for 2009.
He also suggested the province’s related agencies to cooperate and support the town to complete the five-year plan for socio-economic development, with a focus on applying new techniques and technologies in agricultural production, supplementing human resource for the locality, creating new progress in administrative procedure reform.
