(ĐN)- Metro Cash & Carry Vietnam inaugurated a wholesale centre in Dong Nai province’s Bien Hoa city on July 9, the 9th of its kind in the country.

The ceremony was attended by German Consul General in HCM City Conrad Cappell, Vice-President of the Metro Group Heinrich O.E. Birr and Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot.
Covering 7,000 sq.m, the Metro Bien Hoa has a total investment capital of 20 million EUR, including 17 million EUR worth of commodities. It now provides more than 25,000 products, 95 percent of which are produced in
Metro Cash&Carry is represented in 29 countries with over 650 wholesale centers and more than 100,000 employees worldwide.
Metro opened its first outlet in the country in 2002 and has spent around $150mil so far on its nine distribution points nationwide.
