(ĐN)- In Nhon Trach district of Dong Nai province, there are 141 units involved in manufacturing of rice vermicelli and related products, bread, wooden furniture… most of which are small –scale. The manufacturing units spread in villages of Vinh Thanh, Hiep Phuoc, Phu Dong and Long Tan with a work force of nearly 400 people. Workers at these manufacturing units can get salaries ranging from VND 800,000 to 1.2 million per month.

The Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is now carrying out a survey on the development of small scale industry in rural areas. After the suvey completes, the Department will make proposals to stimulate small-scale industries in rural areas of the province in order to create more jobs for rural laborers.
