(ĐN)- By the end of May this year, total subsidised loans of Dong Nai based commercial banks have reached over VND 10,300 billion, Director of Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam Tran Quoc Tuan said. Of total, VND 10.5 billion was provided by Dong Nai branch of Agribank. Local banks have provided nearly 33 per cent of the total lending under the programme for local firms since the rate was launched early March. Tuan also said that the disbursement speed of subsidised loans in the province was faster than its in other provinces and cities in the region. Up to now, 25,000 customers have accessed loans from banks. Most of them were from enterprises operating in agriculture, forestry and aquaculture sectors.
