The conference attracted the participation of speakers from all organizations and enterprises across the province. The participants discussed the implementation of the resolutions No. 26 and No. 27 adopted by the tenth National Party Congress.
The conference defined the need to raise the awareness of the important role of agriculture, farmers and rural areas in the province’s economic development for general public and party members and cadres. The province strives to achieve an average agricultural growth rate of 4 to 4.5 per cent a year by 2010 and the per capita cash income of the provinces rural residents will increase by 10 per cent. The conference aimed to highlight and promote initiatives to build up a high-quality intellectual staff. It also aimed to find ways to effectively promote the intellectual potential to meet the requirement of the industrialization and modernization cause of the province.
