(ĐN)- From the beginning of this year until now, VND300 million were provided as loans to 44 farmer households in communes of Phu Loc, Phu Lam and Xuan My, according to the Dong Nai provincial Farmers’ Association. These farmer households, who are members of the Association, accessed loans to develop family economy (raising pigs and cows or growing vegetables). They also enjoyed low interest rates of 1% per month for 6-12month term. The Association plans to provide credit worth about VND700 million for more than 100 farmer households from now until the end of this year.
In addition, the Association entered the negotiation with Song Lam Fertilizers Company, Rong Lua Fertilizers Company and Dong Nai Agricultural Materials Company to provide 70 tonnes of fertilizers, 4,100 seedlings and plant protection drugs worth approximately VND3 billion in the form of deferred payments to farmers.
