(ĐN)- According to information from the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dong Nai was selected to take part in the project of Livestock Competitiveness and Food Safety (LIFSAP). The province was granted US$5 million from Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to deploy this project.
(ĐN)- According to information from the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dong Nai was selected to take part in the project of Livestock Competitiveness and Food Safety (LIFSAP). The province was granted US$5 million from Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to deploy this project. Accordingly, five communes of Dong Nai’s three districts like Thong Nhat, Dinh Quan and Xuan Loc will benefit from this project.

This project will cover all aspects of food products from the farm to table with focus on investments in breeding infrastructure, breeding animals, animal feed and slaughter-houses, securing animal health and hygienic measures as well as controlling epidemic diseases. Four provinces and cities including Dong Nai, Thai Binh, Ho Chi Minh and Ha Noi are given the opportunity to take part in LISAP project. The Project will be implemented in 5 years, starting in 2009. The total investment of the project will be US$ 75 million, of which, US$65 million will be loan from the World Bank.
