9th Metro wholesale centre to be built in Bien Hoa city

(ĐN)- On January 16, Metro Cash&Carry held a groundbreaking ceremony of its ninth wholesale centre in VietNam, name Metro Cash&Carry Bien Hoa, with a total investment capital of more than 20 million Euros.

, name Metro Cash&Carry Bien Hoa, with a total investment capital of more than 20 million Euros. Secretary of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ao Van Thinh attended the ceremony.

The 8,000sq.m centre will sell more than 35,000 food and non-food items, 95 per cent of which will be produced in the country.

Metro Cash&Carry is represented in 29 countries with over 650 wholesale centers and more than 100,000 employees worldwide.

Metro opened its first outlet in the country in 2002 and has expanded to HCM City, Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, and Can Tho.
