(ĐN)- Recently, Dong Nai province-based Vacdona Company Limited supplied 25,000 aromatic coconut trees to Ben Tre province. Aromatic coconut is originated from Thailand. It is well known for its sweet milk with specific aromatic flavour. This variety of coconut tree can grow in brackish and salt water areas. The coconut trees are short and will bear fruit within two years of being planted. Thus, they are chosen to grow in many tourist areas in order to create landscape and harvest fruits.
