(ĐN)- Dong Nai has an area of nearly 500 ha to plant cocoa trees, the majority of them have been grown in the province for just 2-4 years. Cocoa trees are planted between other kinds of tree such as durian, cashew, coffee, mainly in Long Khanh town, Cam My, Dinh Quan and Thong Nhat districts. According to local cocoa growers, they can earn a profit of VND30-35 million per year from cocoa cultivation. Therefore, the area of cocoa plantations is now being expanded across the province.
