(ĐN)- Over the first five months, Dong Nai granted licenses to 16 domestic investment projects with a combined registered capital of VND5,500 billion ($343 million), reaching 34.4 percent of the year’s plan, an increase of 2.75 times over the same period in 2007. Dong Nai is currently home to 68 valid domestic projects with a total investment capital of VND21,780 billion.
During the past five months, the province has attracted VND7,500 billion of registered capital from new privately owned enterprises and operational enterprises, fulfilling nearly 42 percent of the year’s plan, a year-on-year rise of 87.5 percent. So far, Dong Nai has granted licences to 7,300 private enterprises, with a total registered capital of more than VND40,000 billion.
