According to General Director of Vinacafe Bien Hoa J.S Company Bui Xuan Thoa, in order to achieve such success, the company had to overcome many difficulties and challenges. Accordingly, it focused on applying sci-tech achievements in production aiming to raise production capacity and processing quality, speeding up new product research, of which 3 in 1 instant coffee and 4 in 1 instant ginseng coffee are typical examples. To present, Vinacafe ranks the first in the Vietnamese market of instant coffee, its product is being exported to more than 20 countries including US, Canada, Europe, Pakistan, Japan, Republic of Korea, etc. Vinacafe is well known for its good taste and one of secrets for that special taste is preserving natural taste of Vietnamese coffee seeds. During the past ten year, the company recorded an average annual growth rate of 30-35% and made remarkable contributions to social and charity activities. In 2005, Vinacafe Bien Hoa was awarded the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) Trophy.
The company is now building a new factory in Long Thanh Industrial Zone with a total investment capital of around $25 million. The factory is expected to come into operation by the end of this year with annual capacity of 3,200 tonnes and will produce ready-made coffee and other kinds of beverage.
