Although facing many difficulties because of high input material prices, Tan Mai Paper J.S Company in the first nine months achieved more than VND44.5 billion in profit from turnover of VND998 billion, up over VND30 billion and 60 percent, respectively, from last year’s figure.

Although facing many difficulties because of high input material prices, Tan Mai Paper J.S Company in the first nine months achieved more than VND44.5 billion in profit from turnover of VND998 billion, up over VND30 billion and 60 percent, respectively, from last year’s figure.
The employees’ monthly average salary increased three fold to approximately VND4.9 million compared to VND1.8 million in March, 2007.
Speaking at the company’s annual shareholders meeting in 2007, General Director Tran Duc Thinh affirmed that Tan Mai Paper will pay dividend at 20 percent this year, a threefold increase compared to 2006.
Presently, Tan Mai Paper is planning to invest in large projects. Noteworthy is a project to build a new paper production factory in Long Thanh district. The factory is built on an area of 50 ha and equipped with Canada-imported equipment worth hundred of million dollars.
In coming years, the company will raise its capacity from 150,000 tons to 500,000 tons/year, said Thinh. Besides, Tan Mai Paper is also going to invest to build a 16-ha urban residential area in Long Thanh.
