Giang Dien tourism area starts to get profitable

Giang Dien tourism area on holidays

(ĐN)- After two years of operation, Giang Dien tourism area has received approximately 500,000 visitors. In the first eight months of this year, Giang Dien has welcomed 25,000 visitors, an increasing of  60,000 visitors compared to 2006. The tourism area also attracted more than 15,000 visitors on holidays. Presently, Giang Dien is estimated to achieve VND950 million in profit from turnover of VND11 billion. Besides, it has created jobs for 240 local laborers with monthly average salary of VND1.2 million.

Presently, Giang Dien is planning to build villa area, high-level convalescence area, commercial centre and a 180 ha-golf course to meet the demand of tourists inside and outside the province.
