(ĐN)- Long Thanh Electricity Company recently celebrated its 20th anniversary and had the honor to receive a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister to mark the occasion. Also present at the celebration was Dinh Quoc Thai, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee.
Established in June 1987, the company only installed 40 km of medium and low-voltage lines and 30 transformer stations, provided 2 million kWh per year. After 20 years of construction and development, Long Thanh Electricity Company has 1,448 transformer stations with a total capacity of 372,200 kVA; 1,421 km of medium and low-voltage lines have been installed, meeting timely the demands of 70,907 customers, increasing the percentage of the district’s households with electricity to 96.8 percent. The company now has an electricity output of 900 million kWh per year. Besides, it is also recognized as the leading unit in developing the EVN Telecom service.
