Of the US$1.64 billion, exports from foreign investors accounted for US$1.531 billion, a 30 percent year on year increase; the central enterprises earned US$32.2 million, up 26 percent; and the local enterprises reached US$77 million, a nearly 28 percent rise.
Dong Nai’s import turnover in the same period was estimated at US$1.851 billion, 29.3 percent higher than that of last year. The foreign-invested enterprises contributed US$1.799 of the total, an increase of approximately 30 percent; the central enterprises, more than US$21 million, a 20.6% increase; and the local enterprises, US$30.4 million, up 9.3 percent.
