(ĐN)- Leaders of Dong Nai and Lam Dong provinces signed in Lam Dong on the afternoon of March 10 an agreement on economic, investment promotion, tourism and cultural cooperation for the period 2007-2010.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh said that the new challenges posed by international integration have make it necessary to deepen and strengthen economic cooperation in the region. Thanh expressed his confidence that the cooperation will gain new achievements through the efforts of the two provinces and bilateral relations will develop soundly and steadily.
Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Dang said that this cooperation plays an important role not only in promoting the development of bilateral relations between Dong Nai and Lam Dong but also in promoting exchanges in the southeast provinces. He also expressed his hope to enhance relations between the two provinces in order to speed up the realization of projects, especially Dau Giay- Da Lat highway project.
On the previous day, leaders of the two provinces had attended the inauguration ceremony of Dong Nai’s representative office and village area (Dona Villa) in Lam Dong. The projects have been financed by Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Office and Sonadezi company. The Dona Villa project with total cost of 10.5 billion VND is located at
