Sonadezi targets 1,717 billion VND revenue in 2007

(ĐN)- Sonadezi Corporation has 19 affiliates across Dong Nai province with sales of VND 1,618 billion last year. The company contributed over 146 billion VND to the State budget while its profit/capital ratio was 18.82 per cent in 2006. The figures were reported at a meeting, held to review Sonadezi’s operations in 2006 and discuss plans for 2007 at the firm’s office. At the meeting, Chu Thi Thu, chairman of Sonadezi’s management board also proposed with Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot to reduce the state-owned stakes in the firm’s affiliates between 30 and 36 per cent.

In 2007, Sonadezi aims to earn a revenue of 1,717 billion VND, nearly 100 billion VND higher than 2006, contribute VND 93 billion to the State Budget while its profit/capital ratio will be 17.24 per cent. This year, the company also plans to develop its human resource and restructure and continue forward with its core business offerings such as developing IPs and residential areas, doing business in construction, transportation and industrial production.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Vo Van Mot praised Sonadezi’s efforts to become a strong company. He also stressed that the need for the company to focuss on the development of human capital and building its profile in the marketplace as key ways to ensure that the company remain competitive in the context of WTO accession.
