(ĐN)- Established 6 years ago, Song May industrial zone (IZ) in Trang Bom district, Dong Nai province is currently home to 43 investment projects with a total registered capital of US$ 315 million, employing 18,000 workers. The industrial zone developer has leased out 123 hectares of land which account for 72.75% of the land for lease in the first phase.
The phase II construction of the zone is scheduled to start in 2007, covering an area of over 230 hectares. The zone is set to be fully completed by 2010. Thus, the province is calling on enterprises both home and abroad to invest in developing infrastructure in Song May IZ and set up joint ventures with the industrial zone developer for building and trading infrastructure facilities.
