(ĐN)- On January 24, Dong Nai branch of Vietcombank held a meeting to review its work in 2006 and discuss 2007 tasks. Attending the meeting were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Huynh Chi Thang and Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga.

Thanks to non-stop efforts to improve its services and quickly respond to customers requirements, the Dong Nai branch of Vietcombank has reached a high growth rate in the past years. In 2006, the branch hit total mobilized capital of VND4,751 billion, 126% higher than that of previous year; its loan turnover reached VND9,678 billion, up 123% while the credit balance achieved VND4,324 billion, up 122%; the branch’s profit also increased 175% compared to 2005.
In 2007, the branch targets to increase its mobilized capital, loan turnover, credit balance and profit by 20%. Besides, Dong Nai branch will open more transaction offices and further improve its service quality.
