(ĐN)- According to statistics provided by Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance and Non-State Enterprises, the non-state industrial production value in Dong Nai province reached VND4,614 billion in the first nine months of 2006, up 19% compared to the same period of last year. Some industries posted high production value such as footwear up 21%, sugar increase 5%, confectionary up 13.7% and wood furniture increase 48%, etc. Although facing some difficulties because of increasingly high input material prices, the individual economic sector in past nine months also saw an increase of 17.46% in production value over the same period last year, particularly in cashew nut processing, weaving and handicrafts, wood furniture, etc.
