Over 8,300 workers have been recruited into foreign-invested enterprises in southern Dong Nai province over the past month, the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority (DIZA) has said.
The result was attributable to the enterprises efforts to look for labourers in remote areas and localities where many people of working age do not have stable jobs.
The move has helped these businesses alleviate the labour shortages they have suffered since the traditional lunar New Year Festival (Tet), as a large number of workers had not returned to work after enjoying the Tet holidays, DIZA said
