Dong Nai to set up additional 25 new cooperatives in 2006

(ĐN) - To implement the programme on development of collective economy in the 2006-2010 period, Dong Nai provincial Cooperative Alliance and non-state enterprises has set the target of establishing 25 new cooperatives in 2006.

(ĐN) - To implement the programme on development of collective economy in the 2006-2010 period, Dong Nai provincial Cooperative Alliance and non-state enterprises has set the target of establishing  25 new cooperatives in 2006. Accordingly, Dong Nai will establish agricultural service cooperatives namely Tan Hanh, Xuan Thanh, Hung Loc and Xuan Que (Cam My district), Buu Long fine arts rock trade village (Bien Hoa city), Song Ray and Trang Bom People’s credit funds, etc.  

 

At the end of 2005, 143 cooperatives were already set up with total charter capital of over VND 90 trillion and 30,700 members. They include 60 agricultural service cooperatives, 17 transport cooperatives, 16 construction and handicraft cooperatives, 7 environmental sanitation service cooperatives, 16 trading and service coopratives, 19 People’s credit funds and others. Over 80 per cent out of total cooperatives is appreciated as effective operating units by Dong Nai provincial Cooperative Alliance and non-state enterprises. These cooperatives created stable jobs for local people. The average monthly income per one labor reached around VND 700,000.
