Casumina’s shares rise in trading debut

(ĐN) - The Southern Rubber Industry Company (CASUMINA) has just been transformed into a shareholding company with total chartered capital of VND 90 billion. In which, the State currently holds about a 51 per cent share of Casumina.

(ĐN) - The Southern Rubber Industry Company (CASUMINA) has just been transformed into a shareholding company with total chartered capital of VND 90 billion. In which, the State currently holds about a 51 per cent share of Casumina. Millions of shares have been issued to the public on the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre at face value of VND 10,000 per share. Casumina announced that the company sold 1.8 million shares of its stock at the average price of VND 17,269 per share in its initial public offering. Casumina’s shares rose after the initial public offering. Therefore, Casumina came upon an opportunity to sell an additional 3,000 shares at VND 17,633 for each.

The Board of Directors of Casumina reveals that the company will increase its share capital in upcoming years by issuing new shares, stock options or convertible bonds in one or more issues. The company’s turnover is expected to hit over VND 1,360 billion in 2006, close to VND 1,457 billion in 2007 and VND 1,594 billion in 2008. Earnings are expected to result causing a dramatic increase in dividends each year out to 2006-2008. Dividends paid per share by Casumina will rise by 10.8 per cent in fiscal 2006, 12.7 per cent in fiscal 2007 and 12.7 per cent in fiscal 2008. Accordingly, average monthly salary per person in the company will be from VND 2.8 million to VND 2.8 million.
