Dong Nai’s industrial sector to record rise in production value in 2006

(ĐN) – According to forecasted figures from the province’s Industry Department, in 2006, Dong Nai’s industrial output value is expected to soar to VND 50,340 billion, 18.5% higher than compared with 2005.

(ĐN) – According to forecasted figures from the province’s Industry Department, in 2006, Dong Nai’s industrial output value is expected to soar to VND 50,340 billion, 18.5% higher than compared with 2005. The increase is forecasted for foreign-invested sector with production value amounting to VND32,930 billion, up 19.5% compared to 2005; the non-State enterprises of VND7,340 billion, jumping 24.5%; the central state-owned enterprises of VND7,250 billion, an increase of 10.5%; and the local state-owned enterprises of VND2,820 billion, rising 14% against last year.  

In 2006, Dong Nai’s industrial sector will continue to develop key industries such as mechanical engineering, high tech electronics products manufacturing. The province will also focus on the development of important industries i.e. agricultural products processing, textile, garment and footwears, building material manufacturing, wood processing, and fine art crafts for export. Besides, the province will provide optimal incentives to encourage more investments into mountainous areas such as Xuan Loc, Dinh Quan and Tan Phu.
