Dong Nai attracts 546 billion USD more in FDI capital

Southeastern Dong Nai province’s 17 Industrial Zones attracted 80 more foreign-invested projects with a combined registered capital of more than 210 million USD in the first eight months of this year

Southeastern Dong Nai province’s 17 Industrial Zones attracted 80 more foreign-invested projects with a combined registered capital of more than 210 million USD in the first eight months of this year.

 

The IZs managing board has also granted licenses to 76 FDI projects to add 336 million USD  to their investment capital, bringing an eight-month investment capital to 546 million USD - a record since 2000.

 

The province has, over the past year, organised many working tours to other countries and territories such as Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore and Taiwan, while regularly meeting with domestic and foreign entrepreneurs to remove difficulties and organise seminars and advertisements on investing in Dong Nai province.

 

As a result, the province’s IZs have attracted 718 domestically and foreign-invested projects with a total registered capital of over 7.22 billion USD, including 560 valid FDI projects with a combined registered capital of 6.8 billion USD.

 

The province is ranked third in attracting investment, after Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi.
