Long Thanh Ward hands over 99% of site for 25B road upgrade

Long Thanh Ward in Dong Nai City has handed over more than 7.5 hectares of land for the construction of the 25B Road Upgrade and Expansion Project, equivalent to over 99% of the total area subject to land acquisition, according to the Long Thanh Ward People's Committee.

To facilitate the construction of the section of the 25B Road Upgrade and Expansion Project passing through the ward, Long Thanh Ward has had to acquire nearly 7.6 hectares of land, involving 191 affected cases. To date, the authorities have completed the issuance of land acquisition notices, land inventories, verification of land origin, and approval of compensation and support plans. Compensation and support payments have also been made in 145 cases involving more than 6.8 hectares of land. More than 61 billion VND in compensation and support has been paid, representing over 90% of the total.

The 25B Road Upgrade and Expansion Project stretches more than 9 km from the center of Nhon Trach Ward to National Highway 51 and has a total investment of nearly 1.5 trillion VND. It is one of Dong Nai City's key projects aimed at improving transport connectivity to Long Thanh International Airport. Construction began at the end of 2024.

According to the Dong Nai Construction Investment Project Management Board, the project investor, the construction of the left section of the main route has been completed, and the section has been opened to traffic. Contractors are currently focusing on constructing the main route on the right side and the frontage roads on both sides of the main route, along with bridges, utility culverts, residential underpasses, and lighting systems. The Dong Nai City People's Committee has also requested Nhon Trach and Long Thanh wards to speed up the work and hand over the entire site as soon as possible so that the project can be completed and put into operation by the end of 2026.
