Dong Nai honors 130 outstanding grassroots trade union chairpersons and direct production workers

The Dong Nai Labor Federation held a ceremony on July 26 to honor outstanding grassroots trade union chairpersons for their achievements in dialogue and collective bargaining during the 2023–2025 period, as well as outstanding direct production workers in 2026. The event was a meaningful activity organized by the Dong Nai Trade Union to mark the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929–2026).

At the ceremony, the Dong Nai Labor Federation honored 130 outstanding grassroots trade union chairpersons and direct production workers. Among them, 33 grassroots trade union chairpersons were recognized for their achievements in dialogue and collective bargaining during the 2023–2025 period, while the remaining 97 were recognized as outstanding direct production workers for 2026.

Addressing the ceremony, Nguyen Quoc Dung, Member of the Dong Nai City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and Chairman of the Dong Nai Labor Federation, said the individuals receiving commendations are exemplary representatives among hundreds of thousands of trade union officials and workers who have been making dedicated contributions across the city. Many trade union officials have remained closely connected with union members and have proactively conducted effective dialogue and negotiations with employers, thereby contributing to the development of harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations. At the same time, the 97 direct production workers have continuously improved their knowledge and enhanced their professional skills, and actively pursued innovation, technical improvements, and the application of new technologies, contributing to higher productivity and improved product quality, benefiting enterprises and promoting the spirit of creative labor throughout the city.

“Those honored at the ceremony serve as a source of motivation to continue upholding a pioneering spirit, continuously learning, innovating, and promoting the positive values of dedicated trade union officials and creative workers in the new era. I believe these exemplary trade union officials and workers will continue to play a core role in spreading the spirit of responsibility, creativity and dedication, while helping replicate an increasing number of advanced role models in agencies, units, and enterprises across the city,” emphasized Nguyen Quoc Dung.
