Binh Phuoc Ward launches 100-day campaign to update Electronic Health Book

The People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Ward (Dong Nai City) held a ceremony on the morning of July 30 to launch a free periodic health check-up program and a 100-day campaign to create and update the Electronic Health Book for residents on the VNeID application.

The event was attended by Giang Thi Phuong Hanh, Member of the City Party Committee’s Standing Board, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Binh Phuoc Ward; ward leaders; representatives of hospitals and medical centers supporting the program; and local residents.

Binh Phuoc Ward is home to more than 118,000 residents, including nearly 11,000 elderly people. Around 5% of the population has underlying conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases. These residents need regular health check-ups, monitoring, and health management to ensure timely consultation and treatment.

During this phase of the program, doctors and medical staff from Binh Phuoc General Hospital, Military-Civilian Medical Hospital 16, Hoan My Binh Phuoc Hospital, and the Dong Xoai Regional Medical Center are providing free health check-ups for residents. The examinations include internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, odonto-stomatology, blood testing, and health and nutrition counseling.

Under the campaign, the ward is prioritizing health screening for high-risk groups, including the elderly, people with underlying conditions, policy beneficiaries, people with disabilities, and children under six. Screening results are updated in the Electronic Health Book on the VNeID application and the electronic medical record system, contributing to more convenient and effective health management for residents.

Addressing the launching ceremony, Hoang Thuy Vu, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Ward, said the program aims to improve the quality of primary healthcare, facilitate early disease detection, strengthen public health management, and promote digital transformation in the healthcare sector.

At the ceremony, delegates performed the button-pressing ceremony to officially launch the program. On this occasion, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Ward presented gifts to 10 people with meritorious services to the revolution and 10 elderly people facing difficult circumstances in the locality.
