Dong Nai targets handover of nearly 1,500 resettlement plots by August 2026

The Dong Nai Land Fund Development Center reported that it is expediting infrastructure construction in resettlement areas, aiming to complete and hand over nearly 1,500 resettlement plots by late August 2026. The effort is intended to provide housing for affected residents and support site clearance for key infrastructure projects.

Accordingly, the center is concurrently implementing five infrastructure construction investment projects for resettlement areas. Of these, two projects are expected to have resettlement plots ready for handover in 2026.

These include the resettlement area in Tam Phuoc ward, where infrastructure work is underway and has reached about 36% completion. Under the plan, the project is expected to hand over about 460 resettlement plots by late June 2026, bringing the cumulative total to about 1,000 plots by late August 2026.

For the infrastructure construction project of the resettlement area of more than 49 hectares in Phuoc Tan ward, construction has reached about 18% completion. The project is expected to hand over 150 resettlement plots by late June 2026 and about 450 plots by late August 2026, bringing the cumulative total to approximately 1,000 plots by late 2026.

The Dong Nai Land Fund Development Center is currently carrying out procedures for infrastructure investment in three resettlement projects. Of these, the resettlement area in Dau Giay ward is finalizing construction design drawings and cost estimates. The Bau Sen resettlement area in Xuan Lap ward is undergoing an appraisal of its 1:500 detailed plan and preparing a proposal for investment policy approval. Meanwhile, the resettlement area in Xuan Hoa commune is reviewing the current land status and updating documents for investment preparation.
