According to the Dong Nai City People's Committee, to create momentum for industrial and GRDP growth, the city is focusing on implementing a range of measures to strengthen investment attraction to its industrial parks and economic zones.

In 2026, the city has set a target of attracting approximately USD 1.5 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) to its industrial parks and economic zones. In the first five months of the year, it attracted approximately USD 1.1 billion. Based on projects currently being promoted and those completing investment procedures, the city is striving to bring total FDI attraction to more than USD 2.1 billion by June 30, 2026, exceeding the annual target by 40%.

For domestic investment capital, the 2026 plan is to attract approximately VND 5 trillion to industrial parks and economic zones. In the first five months of the year, total domestic investment capital exceeded VND 5.5 trillion, equivalent to 110% of the annual plan. The city aims to bring total attracted domestic investment capital to more than VND 6 trillion by the end of June 2026.

To achieve these goals, the city has directed departments, sectors, and relevant units to continue accelerating administrative reform and supporting investors in implementing their projects. At the same time, it will strengthen focused investment promotion, prioritizing high-tech, supporting industries, green industries, and environmentally friendly projects.
