The festival took place in a vibrant atmosphere of unity and solidarity, featuring a wide range of activities that showcased the cultural life of local ethnic communities. A highlight of the event was an exhibition area showcasing traditional products representative of each ethnic group, including brocade products, costumes, jewelry, musical instruments, and traditional basket-weaving crafts. The festival also featured cultural performances rich in ethnic identity, blending with the resonant sounds of gongs, along with folk games and a traditional costume contest, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere. In addition, booths displaying handicrafts, fine arts, traditional dishes, and local agricultural products helped promote the commune’s cultural and tourism potential.
As the first commune-level locality in Dong Nai City to host this festival following the implementation of the two-tier local government model, Dak Nhau attracted hundreds of residents, delegates, and visitors to take part in its distinctive and meaningful activities.

“Dak Nhau commune is home to many ethnic groups living together in unity, solidarity, and cooperation to build our homeland. Preserving, safeguarding, and promoting traditional cultural values is not only a responsibility but also an important requirement for strengthening the great national unity bloc and creating a solid spiritual foundation for the locality’s rapid and sustainable development. The Ethnic Minority Cultural Festival provides an opportunity to honor the distinctive cultural values of ethnic groups; introduce and promote the beauty of their people, customs, traditions, costumes, cuisine, and traditional arts; and, at the same time, enhance exchanges and learning while further strengthening solidarity and bonds among local communities in the commune,” said Pham Dinh Phung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dak Nhau commune Party Committee.
