As Dong Nai City enters a new phase of development, the collective economy has significant opportunities to strengthen its role and contribute more to economic growth.

With the assistance from the Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance through supportive policies, concessional financing, digital transformation initiatives, market linkages, and workforce development programs, the 2026–2030 term is expected to generate new momentum for the collective economy sector, enabling it to achieve more effective and sustainable growth.

Nguyen Thanh Hien, Vice Chairwoman in charge of the Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance:

Creating synergy for collective economy growth

In the new growth phase, the Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance has identified the continued promotion of its core role in advising on and coordinating the implementation of policies and guidelines for the development of the collective economy sector. Priority will be given to strengthening coordination with departments, agencies, and local authorities in advising the City Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai City on leadership and direction, while enhancing the effectiveness of the state management apparatus for the collective economy sector to ensure consistency in implementation.

In addition, the Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance will step up communication and dissemination of the Cooperative Law and policies supporting the development of the collective economy, while developing, reviewing, and replicating effective cooperative models. In particular, it will focus on developing new-style cooperatives aligned with the potential and strengths of each locality, thereby creating broader spillover effects across the collective economy sector.

Replicating successful models will enhance the operational efficiency of cooperatives and promote the sustainable development of the collective economy sector, thereby contributing positively to the socio-economic development of Dong Nai City in the new development phase.

Vy Vu Hong Thao, Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance:

Building strategic roadmap for collective economy development

In my view, the factor that will drive breakthroughs in the collective economy sector during the new development phase lies not only in growth targets but also in the quality of governance, internal trust, and organizational culture.

In the coming period, the Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance will continue to support cooperatives in innovating management methods, promoting digital transformation, and enhancing operational capacity. The implementation of the “six clarities” principle, including clear personnel, clear tasks, clear timelines, clear responsibilities, clear authority, and clear results, will help improve transparency and operational efficiency while fostering a professional and equitable working environment.

At the same time, cooperatives need to build an organizational culture centered on learning, innovation, and service. When officials and employees are listened to, encouraged to be creative, and empowered to uphold their responsibilities to the collective, each member will become a driving force in the cooperative's development. This will also provide a foundation for the collective economy sector to improve operational efficiency and better adapt to development requirements in the new phase.

Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance:

Promoting Cooperative Alliance’s role as a bridge

Entering a new development phase, the Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance will focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of cooperative operations through communication, consulting, and training activities. The goal is to enhance the management and operational skills of cooperative officials, enabling cooperatives to proactively adapt to new development requirements.

At the same time, the Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance will promote linkages among cooperatives, enterprises, scientists, credit institutions, and localities to establish sustainable production and consumption chains, increasing value for members. The alliance will also continue to step up activities that support brand development, improve product quality, promote trade, and strengthen market connectivity.

In its role as a bridge between cooperatives and relevant authorities, the Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance will continue to accompany and support cooperatives in effectively accessing State policies, promptly addressing difficulties, and creating momentum for the collective economy sector to grow stronger.

Tran Quoc Huy, Director of the Dong Nai Cooperative Development Support Fund:

Providing financial support for collective economy

In recent times, the Dong Nai Cooperative Development Support Fund has effectively served as an important channel of capital support for the collective economy sector. The fund’s capital has helped many cooperatives, cooperative groups, and cooperative members expand production, improve operational efficiency, and create more jobs for workers.

In the coming period, the fund will continue to improve the quality of its credit operations, ensuring effective use of capital. The operation of Transaction Office No. 1 in Binh Phuoc Ward will help expand the scope of support and create more favorable conditions for cooperatives and cooperative groups to access capital.

At the same time, the fund prioritizes support for effective production models, value-chain linkage projects, the application of science and technology, organic agriculture development, and OCOP (One Commune One Product Program) products. In doing so, it will help enhance competitiveness and promote the sustainable development of the collective economy sector.

Dinh Thi Nga, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Ma Da Xanh Agricultural Technology and Tourism Cooperative:

Strengthening cooperative linkages to expand markets

Our cooperative identifies its role as a bridge between local residents and the market, businesses, and consumers, helping stabilize market outlets, increase product value, and improve members’ incomes. At the same time, the cooperative places a strong emphasis on establishing safe production processes that meet increasingly stringent market standards.

What cooperatives are most concerned about today is receiving stronger support through consulting and training to improve the governance capacity of cooperative management boards. In addition, specialized training courses need to be expanded to provide updates on policies, agricultural production knowledge, science and technology, and market information.

The Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance should also promote networking among cooperatives across the city, creating favorable conditions for cooperatives to trade, connect with partners, and expand their markets. This is an important factor in improving operational efficiency and ensuring the sustainable development of cooperatives.

Chu The Thanh, Director of Thanh Phat Transport Service Cooperative:

Strengthening human resource training and technology support

The collective economy sector, with cooperatives serving as its core, plays an important role in socio-economic development. As Dong Nai enters a new phase of development, cooperatives hope to continue receiving support to facilitate their production and business activities. In particular, administrative procedures should continue to be simplified, with greater implementation of online services, while support for loan capital and technology training should be strengthened.

I expect the Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance to continue to promote its role as a bridge and to stand alongside cooperatives throughout their development process. These units are in great need of support to adopt new technologies, strengthen trade promotion, and expand markets for their products.

In addition, attention should be given to training a young and dynamic workforce capable of quickly adapting to emerging development trends, thereby helping cooperatives enhance their competitiveness and meet development requirements in the coming period.
