Dong Nai City supports Ca Mau in building three health stations and upgrading Youth Park

At noon on May 28, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau Province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a Memorial Temple dedicated to heroic martyrs and revolutionary contributors at the Oasis Area (Cluster 24, An Xuyen Ward).

The event also marked the launch of a program to support the construction of 1,000 houses for poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households, while receiving support funding from Dong Nai City for building three health stations and upgrading the Youth Park at Ca Mau Province’s Administrative Center.

Central officials in attendance at the ceremony included Le Minh Tri, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission; Bui Van Nghiem, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission; Ngo Dang Nhat, Director of Department 1, the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission.

Representing Dong Nai City at the event were Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairwoman of the City People’s Council Ton Ngoc Hanh, along with Standing members and members of the City Party Committee’s Standing Board and representatives of various agencies and departments.

On the Ca Mau province’s side, attendees included Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly’ Deputies ; Huynh Quoc Viet, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Lu Quang Ngoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Thanh Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province; along with comrades in the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, leaders of departments, agencies, localities; representatives of sponsoring units, religious organizations, policy families, relatives of martyrs, and a large number of local people.

The program holds profound political and social significance, demonstrating the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", showing gratitude to previous generations; caring for social welfare, improving the lives of the people by the Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, agencies, units, and localities of Ca Mau province.

At the ceremony, leaders of Dong Nai City provided financial support to Ca Mau province to build three new standard health stations in Dat Mui, Hung My, Ninh Thanh Loi communes and to build Youth Park at the Ca Mau Provincial Administrative Center.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dong Nai City Party Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang emphasized that Ca Mau is a land rich in revolutionary traditions and compassion, representing the sacred southernmost tip of the country and holding a special place in the hearts of people nationwide. This is not only a land where national sovereignty is marked, but also a symbol of the resilient will, indomitable spirit, and strong aspiration for development of the people of the Southwest region.

With a spirit of solidarity and compassion and a sense of responsibility towards the community, the Party Committee, government, and people of Dong Nai City will accompany Ca Mau province in social welfare work, caring for people's health, and showing gratitude to the generations of predecessors who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland through the most practical actions, which are supporting the investment in building 3 medical stations to ensure operation according to the model of exemplary medical stations and supporting the upgrading of Youth Park.

These are not merely infrastructure projects carrying material value, but also symbols of solidarity, responsibility, and affection from the Party Committee government, and people of Dong Nai City toward the Party Committee, government, and people of Ca Mau Province.

Looking ahead, Dong Nai City hoped to further strengthen cooperation and ties with Ca Mau Province across multiple sectors, share development experiences, promote regional connectivity, and support each other toward faster, more sustainable development and improved quality of life for local residents.
