Pham Thanh Vinh, Deputy Head of the Social Work Board of Mass Association

under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city:

Promoting the role of gathering and consolidating the great national unity bloc

The elevation of Dong Nai to city status represents a milestone of special significance – not only administratively but also in terms of development stature and the locality’s political, economic, and social standing nationwide.

From a dynamic industrial province, Dong Nai has now been upgraded to a Class I urban center, reflecting the persistent efforts of the Party Committee, authorities, and people over many years.

Alongside pride comes a profound sense of responsibility. With city status, requirements for state governance, quality of life, social security, and urban civilization will become significantly higher. For Front officials, the role of gathering and strengthening the great national unity bloc is therefore increasingly vital.

At the same time, the event brings strong confidence and expectations. Dong Nai will have additional special mechanisms and policies, enabling faster and more modern development, and positioning the city as a major hub for industry, services, and logistics nationwide. As a result, both material and spiritual living standards of the people are expected to continue improving.

Dang Van Diem, Chairman of the Dong Nai Business Federation:
Connecting and accompanying enterprises in development

In recent years, Dong Nai has accelerated its economic growth, gradually emerging as a key growth pole of the country. Its domestic and foreign investment attraction has continued to rise, while industry, services, and commerce have expanded strongly; urbanization has also progressed rapidly in tandem with economic development.

Meanwhile, the locality has received substantial investment in infrastructure, ranging from national highways and expressways to seaports and airports. Dozens of industrial parks and clusters have been developed to meet the needs of investors. The business community expects Dong Nai City to continue making strong breakthroughs, particularly in establishing more favorable mechanisms and policies for production and business activities, thereby fostering enterprise resources, which are the main drivers of development.

For its part, the Dong Nai Business Federation will continue striving to serve as a bridge between the government and the business community. This includes conveying state and local policies, guidelines, and legal frameworks related to planning, development, and management, while also coordinating with relevant agencies to enhance activities in training, business connectivity, market access, and enterprise support.

Dang Quoc Nghi, Chairman of the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association:
Creating opportunities for the startup ecosystem

The establishment of the city marks a major turning point, setting new requirements for both governance and the business community. Dong Nai possesses a solid industrial foundation, a well-developed network of industrial zones, a strategic connectivity position, and significant advantages stemming from Long Thanh International Airport. Accordingly, the city needs to be reorganized under a new development vision aligned with the green economy, digital transformation, modern logistics, and high-quality services.

In the coming period, with expanded development scale and a growing population in Dong Nai, demand for consumption and commercial-service activities are expected to rise sharply, creating room for new industries. This offers businesses opportunities to proactively adapt, diversify products, and build brands in a more systematic and sustainable manner.

To fully tap into these advantages, the business community expects, alongside its own efforts, a more transparent investment environment, as well as favorable conditions for small and medium-sized enterprises and startups to participate more deeply in supply chains – especially within industrial, logistics, and service ecosystems surrounding Long Thanh International Airport.

Ngo Ngoc Thuan, Deputy Director of Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company (Thong Nhat commune):
Ensuring sustainable development for Dong Nai City

With its existing infrastructure advantages, Dong Nai City is well positioned to attract investment and enhance regional competitiveness. We are ready to proactively invest, innovate, and accompany the locality in this development journey, from improving production capacity to participating in higher-value, technology-intensive value chains. At the same time, we expect Dong Nai to continue advancing administrative reform, ensure greater transparency in planning, and foster a more favorable business ecosystem.

Another crucial aspect is that development should be accompanied by a sustainable approach that balances economic growth, environmental protection, and residents' quality of life. This is considered a key factor in making Dong Nai a long-term attractive destination for the business community. Enterprises also expect stronger improvements in logistics infrastructure and high-quality human resources, along with conditions that enable workers to remain committed to their jobs over the long term.

In addition, consistent and long-term planning is essential to give businesses confidence to invest, expand production, and enhance competitiveness in the international market.

Nguyen Bao Khanh (Suoi Quyt hamlet, Cam Duong commune), a worker at Long Thanh Industrial Park:

Welcoming April 30 holiday with pride and gratitude

This year’s April 30 commemoration not only recalled the historic milestone of national reunification but also carried special meaning for me and many other workers in Dong Nai. My sense of joy comes not only from its historical significance but also from the tangible improvements in daily life. I am particularly encouraged to see the city placing increasing emphasis on developing social housing for workers, which has helped us secure more stable living conditions, reduce financial burdens, and feel more confident in committing to long-term employment.

Like many other workers, I place great expectations on the city’s bright future. I firmly believe that as Dong Nai advances to a new level of development, more practical welfare policies will be introduced for workers, such as healthcare and education support for their children, as well as the development of cultural facilities, recreational spaces, and community facilities to enrich their spiritual well-being.

At this moment, my feelings are a blend of pride, gratitude, and hope. We believe that, with the attention of the authorities and the overall development of the locality, the lives of workers will become increasingly stable and prosperous, enabling each individual to feel secure about staying, contributing, and growing alongside the city.

Vo Bao Quoc (Tran Bien ward):

Proud to be a part of Dong Nai’s transformation

This year’s April 30 became even more meaningful as Dong Nai these days stands before a new phase of development, striving to become a modern, dynamic urban center. These changes are increasingly visible through improved infrastructure, rising living standards, and better public services.

I feel fortunate to not only witness but also be part of the city’s development. I hope that Dong Nai City will continue to grow in a sustainable manner so that every resident can feel secure in living, working, and building a long-term future in the locality.
