On March 18, Nguyen Minh Hai, Deputy Head of the Dong Nai Tax Department, stated that the department had just launched a 15-day peak campaign for local tax offices across the province to publicize and support tax policies and administration for household and individual businesses (collectively referred to as HBs).

The 15-day peak campaign aims to strengthen publicity and support and create favorable conditions for HBs to timely understand the new regulations under the Government’s Decree 68/2026/ND-CP on tax policies and administration for HBs. Simultaneously, it also disseminates Circular 18/2026/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance on dossiers and procedures for tax administration for HBs in preparation for their first tax declaration period in the first quarter of 2026.
Accordingly, the tax sector will promote and introduce several new points regarding tax policies and administration for HBs. Specifically, the content includes revenue for determining personal income tax; deductible and non-deductible expenses for personal income tax calculation. It also covers tax policies, tax declaration, tax payment, invoices, and accounting books for taxes, such as value-added tax, personal income tax, other taxes and fees, declaration periods, deadlines for declaration and payment, electronic invoices, etc.
In addition to promoting and supporting taxpayers with tax policies, Dong Nai Tax Department asks local tax offices to step up the introduction of the Handbook on guiding the implementation of tax obligations for HBs. This handbook is compiled in a concise and easy-to-understand format, focusing on practical content directly related to the actual production and business activities of HBs, such as tax registration, tax declaration, tax payment, use of electronic invoices, and the responsibility to maintain records and documents. The goal is to help HBs proactively control their tax obligations, minimize the risk of errors, and confidently develop their production and business activities.
Dong Nai Tax Department currently has 10 local tax offices managing taxes, fees, charges, and other state budget revenues across 95 communes and wards in the province.
