Accordingly, on January 15, Dong Nai Province will hold groundbreaking ceremonies for the projects of Cat Lai bridge and Long Hung bridge. These are key transport infrastructure projects linking Dong Nai with Ho Chi Minh City, expected to create fresh momentum for socio-economic development in Dong Nai and the Southeastern region.

In addition to these two projects, on January 15, the province will also organize technical traffic opening and commencement ceremonies for five other projects, including the technical opening of the Dong Nai Riverside Road Project; the commencement of the Nha Bich Bridge Project on National Highway 14; the 2.1-hectare social housing project in Phuoc An Commune (with a scale of 1,800 apartments); the 3.1-hectare social housing project in Phuoc An Commune (with 1,490 apartments); and the social housing apartment project within the Long Hung Residential Area in Long Hung Ward.

According to the plan, the commencement, groundbreaking, and technical traffic opening ceremonies for these projects held in celebration of the 14th National Party Congress will take place on January 15 in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation via live broadcast, with the central online point being the groundbreaking ceremony of the Cat Lai Bridge Project.

Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Ha emphasized that the commencement, groundbreaking, and technical traffic opening ceremonies scheduled to be held for projects across the province on January 15 are major political events in celebration of the 14th National Party Congress. These projects also carry significant importance in enhancing regional connectivity, improving transport links between Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City, and advancing social welfare.

In particular, the Cat Lai bridge project is one that the public has long anticipated and awaited for implementation. Therefore, the organization of the commencement, groundbreaking, and technical traffic opening ceremonies must be conducted in a solemn, safe, and cost-effective manner, avoiding any extravagance or waste. It is essential to ensure smooth and synchronized connectivity between the central site and satellite venues, with clear assignments of personnel, tasks, timelines, and progress while emphasizing the accountability of the heads in charge of preparation and organization.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television Station to coordinate with relevant units to produce the program in the form of a live televised broadcast. All online points of presence are to follow a unified program script for the ceremony, developed by Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television. Filming and transmission connections must ensure high quality and uninterrupted connectivity throughout the entire program. The Department of Construction was tasked with working with the provincial Public Security to develop plans to ensure security and order, as well as to organize traffic regulation measures in the area where the groundbreaking ceremony will be held for the Cat Lai bridge project.
