On the afternoon of September 27, the official session of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Tan commune for the 2025–2030 term was held, with the participation of 161 delegates representing all segments of the local population. Luu Thi Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, attended and delivered directives at the congress.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and its member organizations effectively carried out movements and campaigns launched by the locality and the province. These efforts helped strengthen the great national unity bloc, successfully achieve socio-economic development goals, and maintain political security in the area.

As part of patriotic emulation movements, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune conducted outreach, mobilizing local resources and encouraging residents to contribute and donate land for the expansion of 12 rural roads, with a total value of over 750 million VND. The committee also joined efforts to build flower-lined roads and raised 355 million VND in support of northern communities affected by natural disasters.
At the congress, delegates engaged in focused discussions, contributed ideas, and reached consensus on six action programs along with solutions to achieve the key objectives. These include promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, consolidating and enhancing public trust in the Party and government, mobilizing all available resources, and advancing patriotic emulation movements and campaigns. The aim is to drive socio-economic development, maintain national defense and security, and strive for the commune to meet the standards of an advanced new-style rural area by 2030.

The congress elected 59 members to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Tan commune for the 2025–2030 tenure and nominated two official delegates to attend the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province for the 2025–2030 tenure.
Speaking at the congress, Luu Thi Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, highly appreciated the achievements of the commune’s Fatherland Front and endorsed its proposed action program. She emphasized that the Front must serve as a hub for gathering, connecting, and supporting initiatives so that the creative ideas of the people can be realized, making practical contributions to local socio-economic development.
Luu Thi Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, called on the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Tan commune to continue renewing the content and methods of outreach and mobilization, while enhancing its role in supervision and social feedback. She also emphasized the effective implementation of the mechanism: “People know, people discuss, people do, people check, people supervise, and people benefit.” These efforts, she noted, will contribute to building a prosperous, cultured Binh Tan commune and accelerating its progress toward meeting the standards of a modern rural area.
