Seventy-nine HYPO Leaders who are studying and participating in activities at HYPOs of the secondary schools across the province took part in the festival, going through five skill stations.
At station 1, contestants took part in an individual multiple-choice quiz covering topics such as Vietnamese history; the life and revolutionary legacy of President Ho Chi Minh; the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization. The quiz also included questions on traffic safety, child protection, accident and injury prevention, gender equality, children’s rights, and major campaigns and movements organized by the Young Pioneers.
The remaining four stations involved team competitions. Specifically, at station 2, teams competed in the Formality of the HYPO, including basic formations, call-and-response slogans, and situational handling. At station 3, teams worked together to create a product reflecting the team’s spirit and identity, using basic materials provided by the Organizing Committee along with available items such as plastic bottles, recycled materials, flowers, leaves, and fabric scraps to increase creativity.

At the final station, each team selected a topic related to the role, responsibilities, and aspirations of children to either present before the jury panel or perform through a short skit or dramatized stage act that clearly expressed their chosen theme.
Contestants who scored between 80 and 100 points were recognized by the Organizing Committee with the title of Provincial Outstanding Team Leader. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and ten consolation prizes.
