Activities to care for the poor

(ĐN) – On January 17, Dong Nai Red Cross Association handed 200 Tet gift packages worth VND 400,000 each to disadvantaged households in Trang Bom town. The recipients included poor and near-poor households, single elderly people and ethnic minorities. The gifts were sponsored by Vice Chairman Nguyen Son Hung of the provincial People's Committee.

At the same day, the provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission presented 100 Tet gifts, including cash and essentials, to families in need in Dong Hoa and Hung Thinh communes. The gifts were funded by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Bien Hoa city.

On this occasion, the district’s military command launched a community campaign celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Thong Nhat district’s Xuan Thien commune. During the event, 140 Tet gift sets worth VND 500,000 each were given to militia members and struggling residents
