Opportunities for banana exporters in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- Currently, Dong Nai’s banana plantations are entering the harvest season, supplying the 2025 export market.

The farm-gate price of export bananas is currently at 7500–8000 VND/kg. At this price level, banana farmers are making good profits.

This year, weather conditions have been unusually unpredictable, with several extended unseasonal heavy rains affecting many crops. However, according to banana farmers in the province, these rains have actually contributed to better banana growth while also reducing disease outbreaks. As a result, banana yields have increased, and fruit quality has also improved.

Farmers are optimistic about a successful 2025 banana export season, expecting both a good harvest and favorable prices.
