During the four-day holiday marking April 30 and May 1 (from April 30 to May 3), Dong Nai City received more than 190,000 visitors for sightseeing and accommodation. Of these, domestic tourists accounted for over 184,000 arrivals, while international visitors exceeded 6,000. Total tourism revenue was estimated at approximately VND 146 billion.

According to inspections and surveys by the City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the holiday, accommodation service prices were generally stable, with an average room occupancy rate of 40-45% (specifically, accommodation facilities in tourist areas and attractions reached 95-100% occupancy).

Several destinations attracted significant numbers of tourists, notably Son Tien Tourist Area, with around 80,000 visitors; Buu Long Tourist Area, with over 17,000; and Suoi Mo Tourist Area, with more than 16,000. Other destinations such as Cat Tien National Park, Dong Nai Nature and Cultural Reserve, Bo Cap Vang Ecotourism Area, the S’tieng Ethnic Culture Preservation Area in Bom Bo Hamlet, and Bu Lach Grassland continued to draw visitors for leisure, sightseeing, and experiential activities, each receiving between 3,000 and 9,000 visitors during the holiday.

At tourist areas and attractions, measures to ensure security, order, and visitor safety were implemented effectively, with no sudden price hikes reported. Notably, this year’s holiday was marked by the establishment of Dong Nai City as of April 30, 2026. Accordingly, the cityscape, tourist areas, and attractions were decorated to welcome the city, while art and culinary programs celebrating the holiday and Dong Nai City’s special event received positive feedback from visitors.
