According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the Lunar New Year (Tet) of the Horse 2026, Dong Nai welcomed about 220,000 tourists for sightseeing and overnight stays, up 12% compared to the Tet 2025 holiday. Of that total, international tourists accounted for about 2,000 visits.

Total tourism revenue reached about 153 billion VND, up 18% compared to the Tet holiday in 2025. Several destinations saw a sharp rise in visitor numbers, including: Suoi Mo Tourist Area, Tan Phu Commune, with more than 32,000 visits; Son Tien Tourist Area, Long Hung Ward, about 30,000 visits; Chua Chan Mountain Scenic Relic, Xuan Loc Commune, about 25,000 visits; and Buu Long Tourist Area, Tran Bien Ward, with more than 20,000 visits. Many other tourism areas and sites recorded more than 2,000 to 6,000 visits during the Tet holiday, such as: Cat Tien National Park and the golf course system, about 6,000 visits per site; Bu Lach Grassland, Tho Son Commune, about 5,000 visits; Qua Dieu Vang Ecotourism Area, Dong Tam Commune, about 4,200 visits; Ta Thiet Relic, Loc Thanh Commune, about 3,000 visits, among others.

During the Tet holiday, accommodation prices remained largely stable. Average room occupancy reached about 35-40%. Tourism activities in Dong Nai province were lively, safe, and stable. Security and safety measures for tourists were implemented effectively, with no sudden price hikes or incidents.
