At events such as Ho Chi Minh city tourism festival and Vietnam international travel mart (VITM Hanoi 2025), Dong Nai’s tourism booth featured promotional materials, local specialties, and tourism information. Particularly, the virtual experience space showcasing attractions such as Tran Bien Temple of Literature, Nhon Trach Tunnels, and Nguyen Huu Canh Temple drew significant attention from visitors.
At VITM Hanoi 2025, themed “Developing Green Destinations – Elevating Vietnam’s Tourism,” Dong Nai introduced virtual tours and smart interactive displays using VR headsets and touchscreens. Visitors could explore destinations via smartphones or tablets with multi-layered content, high-quality visuals, and multimedia features that brought cultural and historical insights to life.
These tech-driven experiences align with digital transformation goals and mark a breakthrough in modernizing Dong Nai’s tourism.
Besides VITM, Dong Nai joined the 12th Southern Folk Cake Festival in Can Tho and the 21st Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival. These events featured over 200 booths, culinary contests, cultural showcases, and regional specialties.
Such festivals provide opportunities for businesses to network, promote local tourism, and strengthen regional cooperation. They also support the national goal of 22–23 million international visitors, 130 million domestic tourists, and 12–13% tourism revenue growth.
On April 10, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued a directive to boost tourism, emphasizing digital transformation, green growth, visa facilitation, and improved tourism services.
