Bach Long bridge, located in Moc Chau Island Tourist Area of the northern mountainous province of Son La, is 2.4 metres wide and 150 metres above ground.

It is made of super-tempered glass which is produced by France’s Saint Gobain Group and includes three layers of 40m thick glass.

The glass walking bridge also features an eye-catching lighting and sound system which contributes to enhancing the experience for visitors.

Long Trung Tam, chairman of Moc Chau district’s authorities, said that the inauguration of the bridge will be a major event for the locality as it will contribute to boosting the development of tourism in the northwestern region.

The administration of Son La province is currently completing procedures to seek Guinness world record recognition for the bridge as the longest glass bridge globally.

Vietnam in 2019 opened two first glass bridges for walking, the 60-metre long Rong May (Cloud Dragon) in Lai Chau province and the 80-metre long Tinh Yeu (Love) in Son La province.
