Over the past few years, tourist areas in Dong Nai have mainly attracted visitors from neighboring provinces in Southeast region and inside Dong Nai province. Currently, the market of tourists to the province is expanded to provinces like Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan and some Southwestern provinces.
Accordingly, domestic visitors accounted of 97 percent, while international tourists are mainly from France, Germany, the U.S, England, the Netherlands, etc, which are represented 3 percent of the total visitors to Dong Nai.
In addition, the average growth of visitors to the province in the 2017-2019 period was estimated at 12.6 percent, with tourism service revenue at 15.4 percent.
