In the past years, Tan Phu attracted many visitors in Vietnam and other countries to visit the Cat Tien National Park during holidays and weekends. In recent times, the district has had a lot of other attractive destinations, such as Suoi Mo Tourist Park, Hoa Binh Waterfalls and Da Ton Lake.
The Cat Tien National Park
Every year, the Cat Tien National Park welcomes thousands of vacationers in Vietnam and foreigners to tour the park. In 2001, the park was recognized by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserved zone.
The park is the largest and most attractive ecotourism destination in the Southeast region. It features special tourism activities such as bird-watching, camping, boating and green tourism. It covers a vast area of more than 72,000ha and belongs to three provinces: Dong Nai, Lam Dong and Binh Phuoc. Cat Tien’s terrain is forest and mountain, along with diversified natural scenery.
Cat Tien National Park is providing nocturnal animal tours that offer visitors an opportunity to see the wild animals in their natural habitat. In addition, visitors can also enjoy local food as well as wild vegetables when visiting the park.
Visiting waterfalls, lakes
In addition to touring The Cat Tien National Park, tourists can visit Suoi Mo Tourist Park. The park spans an area of 150,000 sq.m2, surrounded by trees and water-based entertainment.
The district is also home to Da Ton Lake which is a place of charming landscapes with untouched beauty. The man-made lake covers an area of 344 hectares and is built in 1986. Located 6km away from Da Ton Lake, Hoa Binh Waterfalls are considered as an interesting destination.
Coming here, visitors can contemplate the beauty of the old Linh Phu Pagoda and listen to bids singing in harmony with the sound of water to create a mysterious music piece of mountains and hills.
