The rise of the number of tourists has helped increase the province’s turnover up to nearly VND1 trillion, up 14.5 percent against the same period last year. Of the tourists, more than 312,000 visitors stay overnight in the province, up 12 percent.
According to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the tourists to Dong Nai sharply increased due to Dong Nai-based tourist areas had invested in upgrading their facilities and landscapes.
The tourist areas which attracted lots of visitors in the period included Suoi Mo in Tan Phu district, Buu Long and Vuon Xoai in Bien Hoa city, Giang Dien Waterfalls and Da Han Waterfalls in Trang Bom district.
