Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, has made the list of the world's top 25 destinations this year coming in at fourth place in the 2015 Travellers' Choice Awards revealed by the world's largest travel review site TripAdvisor.

The list is based on the millions of reviews and opinions from TripAdvisor travellers.
Hanoi is described by TripAdvisor as a place with long-standing charming beauty, “preserving the Old Quarter, monuments and colonial architecture, while making room for modern developments alongside”.
The city also features lakes, parks, shady boulevards and more than 600 temples and pagodas, which can easily be explored on a taxi tour, according to TripAdvisor.
The magical city of Marrakech in Morocco was named the world’s best destination for 2015 with its markets, gardens, palaces, and mosques.
Other top ten ranking destinations included Siem Reap (Cambodia, second place), Istanbul (Turkey, third), Prague (Czech Republic, fifth), London (England, sixth), Rome (Italy, seventh), Buenos Aires (Argentine, eighth), Paris (France, ninth) and Cape Town (South Africa, 10th).
